The vlogging community in the Philippines is mourning the passing of one of the country's top vloggers, Lloyd Cadena, who passed away on September 4, 2020.

Social media star Lloyd Cadena lived a colorful life and brought laughter to millions of fans. Ever since he rose to social media stardom in 2010, Lloyd has gained over 5 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel, and over 6 million followers on Facebook. At a young age, Lloyd's consistent daily vlogs and funny antics won the hearts of Filipinos.

As his career as a content creator grew, he became more influential. In 2013, he won the Globe Tatt Awards Best Comedy on YouTube. He also earned the YouTube Personality Award at Influence Asia 2017. He also received YouTube's Gold Creator Award, a recognition for YouTube channels who have over 1 million subscribers.

In 2018, Lloyd released his own book called Ex-Rated, a compilation of witty realizations on love and heartbreak. He was also admired for his charity work for the less fortunate. He donated school supplies to underprivileged children and extended support for COVID-19 relief efforts. In their family, Lloyd was a loving son who purchased a home for his family. He had also saved money so his OFW parents can return home and retire.
